Contract: NEC4 Option C (Target Cost with Pain/Gain Share)
Challenge: Tight programme, complex client requirements, and multi-package coordination demanded rigorous change management.

Leon Doyne
Director
Leon is a highly experienced Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyor with a proven record of delivering value and managing risk for clients across the UK construction industry. Having held senior roles with Kier, BAM Nuttall, AECOM, IFP Construction/NIRAS, and Mick George Group, he brings extensive experience across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. Leon is particularly skilled in contract reviews, risk appraisal, and NEC/JCT contract administration, ensuring clients always enter agreements from a position of strength. His leadership philosophy is simple: deliver clarity, control, and confidence on every project.
Rob Newman
Senior Estimator
Rob is an experienced Estimator with more than 20 years in the construction industry, including senior positions at Lindum Group and Clegg Construction Ltd. He specialises in developing detailed, competitive cost plans and estimates that give clients certainty from feasibility to tender stage. Rob’s collaborative approach ensures risks are identified early, supply chains are engaged effectively, and value engineering opportunities are maximised.
Lee Quince
Senior Project Manager
Lee is a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical & electrical engineering and construction delivery. He has led complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, managing technical requirements and multidisciplinary teams with precision. Lee’s expertise lies in programme control, stakeholder management, and the integration of M&E within broader construction programmes — ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met.
Richard Careless
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Richard brings over 30 years of experience in the construction and house-building sectors, having held senior roles at Lagan Aviation & Infrastructure, IFP Construction, and Galliford Try. His expertise covers major civil, aviation, and infrastructure projects, with a focus on contract implementation, commercial oversight, and stakeholder coordination. Richard provides clients with expert commercial advice, guiding projects through challenging contractual environments and ensuring resilient delivery outcomes.
